At St. John’s, we believe children are a vital part of our life together.

Sunday morning opportunities:
Nursery | Age 0-4
The nursery is open on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for parents to attend worship and participate in Adult Christian Education. Our staff is required to pass a background check, complete online coursework entitled Safeguarding God’s Children and training specific to St. John’s needs. We pride ourselves on providing safe, warm, and welcoming care and look forward to being a part of your Sunday morning!
Christian Formation | Age 5 – 5th Grade
Our Children’s Christian Education team leads lessons, crafts and activities during the Sunday 10 a.m. education hour. The goal is to promote biblical literacy in our young learning members, while creating a fun and safe environment they look forward to each week.
Children’s Chapel | Age 5 – 5th Grade
The children follow the child crucifer out of the church service during the Gloria and return during the Peace. Lessons take place in the chapel area of our Children’s Gathering Room and follow the liturgy but are presented
in a child friendly format.
