WELCOME

We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, gay, filthy rich, or dirt poor. And to those who are crying newborns, skinny as a rail, or who could afford to lose a few. We welcome you if you can sing like Beyonce or if you can’t carry a note in a bucket.

You’re welcome here if you’re more Catholic than the Pope or haven’t been to church since little Joey’s Baptism. We extend a special welcome to those who are over 60 but not grown up yet and to teenagers who are growing up too fast. We welcome soccer moms, NASCAR dads, starving artists, tree-huggers, latte-sippers, vegetarians, and junk-food eaters.

We offer a special welcome to those who think the world is flat, work too hard, don’t work, can’t spell, or because Grandma is in town and she wanted to go to church today. We welcome those who are inked, pierced or both. We offer a special welcome to those who could use a prayer right now, had religion shoved down your throat as a kid, or got lost in traffic and wound up here by mistake. We welcome tourists, seekers and doubters, bleeding hearts…and YOU!

Holy Eucharist
Our Sunday morning worship services are at 8:45am and 11am. If you don’t feel comfortable gathering in-person, our 8:45am service is live-streamed on YouTube each Sunday.

Healing Services
We hold monthly Healing Services on at 6:30pm on various Tuesday evenings throughout the year. If you don’t feel comfortable gathering in-person, these services are live-streamed on YouTube.

NEWCOMERS

We are thankful for your interest in St. John’s Episcopal Church. We would like you to complete the Newcomers Registry at the top of this page to provide contact information so the church office and Newcomers Ministry Team may extend a warm welcome!

An overview of the parish and some of our activities are available here on the website.

We hope you will come and visit — and ask questions! We are offering worship in-person and online at this time.

We pray you will discern whether this is a community of faith where you want to nurture and grow in the faith. If it is, there will be invitations to a Newcomers Dinner, Newcomers Class, and New Member Liturgy.

If you have any questions, please ask! Father Ripp or anyone else will be happy to help. Contact the church office by emailing office@stjohnsnb.com to make an appointment with Fr. Ripp at any time.
